Birch Point Resort welcomes you and your family to stay in our cozy 2-bedroom cabins located on beautiful Nelson Lake. We are only 6 miles from Hayward.

The Sunset Villa, our newest unit, invites you to step in and surround yourself with the finest in designer 2-bedroom northwoods living. Designed by award-winning Layfayette Interiors of Minnetonka, MN, this villa will surely make you want to come back to it time and time again. With over 800 square feet of living area, it's perfect for families or couples that want that extra bit of luxury and the best view of shimmering Nelson Lake to boot.

Your lakeside Villa includes a full modern kitchen with all the amenities that you might expect, a full bath with a skylight, 2 bedrooms - each with its own distinctive decor; plus the great room with its own gas fireplace, entertainment center, phone, and much more.

You also are provided a private new dock, and full access to all of the amenities that Birch Point Resort has to offer, as well as easy access to the best beach on Nelson Lake. We also offer a playground, fish cleaning facilities, a gift shop, and a game room.

At Birch Point Resort, all bedding is provided for your convenience. Personal towels and kitchen towels are not provided.

Activities are unlimited in the Hayward area. There is something for everyone. Fishing, hunting, golfing, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Or you can visit our marina to see the largest rental fleet on Nelson Lake. Enjoy the winter sports as well. Ice fishing is great on Nelson Lake. There are 600 miles of groomed and marked trails, as well as X-Country trails. Many good restaurants and shopping await your visit and all the great events of the season.
