The Whispering Woods unit boasts a fabulous panoramic view of beautiful Round Lake, one of the area's most clean, clear lakes. You'll enjoy that view from the wrap-around deck that encompasses the entire perimeter of home. Enjoy the woods and the water from every angle and fully appreciate the majestic setting that this home has to offer.

The great room overlooks its own peaceful, private bay, known as "Schoolhouse." Watch as the day comes to life with the sunrise with your own version of "On Golden Pond" each morning. The fishing is fabulous; although from the great room and its comfortable setting, you may never want to leave your chair. But when do decide to head out and do some fishing, those clear waters offer abundant muskie, northern, bass, crappie, bluegills, and even an occasional trout. A 32-foot dock offers you space for you to moor any type of rig, or simply cast off in the available 20-foot fish-n-cruise pontoon. What could be easier? Just reserve it when renting the unit with your stay.

On the ground/lakeside level, walkout to a sprawling patio that never seems to end with plenty of room for all of the lawn chairs and loungers. Keep an eye on the kids while they play at the water's edge, and you can still enjoy that book that you never seem to be able to finish. You'll probably read more than a few this week. And then everybody will sleep better than ever before. It's all of that great fresh northwoods air.

Each bedroom offers accommodations fit for a king and a queen, respectively. Also for the younger set are a bunk set and a sleeper/pullout, plus a futon. With over 1,000 sq. ft. on the main level and almost that on the walk-out level, you'll have plenty of space to spread-out and relax. When night time comes there's no fighting over the bathrooms as this unit offers 2 of them, one on each level. Activities are unlimited in the Hayward area. There is something for everyone. Fishing, hunting, golfing, hiking, biking, and horseback riding. Or you can visit our marina to see the largest rental fleet on Nelson Lake. Enjoy the winter sports as well. Ice fishing is great on Nelson Lake. There are 600 miles of groomed and marked trails, as well as X-Country trails. Many good restaurants and shopping await your visit and all the great events of the season.
