Birch Point Resort is located in the heart of Sawyer County's snowmobiling
action. Trail #4 runs all the way across the length of Nelson Lake
and right into the front door of Birch Point Resort. We are inter-connected
to the trail system from every possible trail out of our resort.

Bring
your own sled or rent one of ours. Birch Point Resort is the premier
place to rent snowmobiles. Maintained by our expert staff, these
quality Ski-Doo units will bring you hours of riding enjoyment and
ensure a safe, comfortable, exhilarating ride. We emphasize safety
so we review the equipment with every rental to ensure a safe outing.
We provide maps if required of the area trails and we will answer
any questions that you may have regarding trail conditions. We are
snowmobilers too so we try to stay abreast of what's happening in
the area. We have gas and oil available also (91 octane premium).

Snowmobile
Rental Policy: To rent one of the Birch Point snowmobiles you
must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license.
A deposit of one half of your total rental per unit is required
at the time of reservation by credit card. At the time of your
arrival your reservation deposit will convert to a security
deposit. If you cancel more than 5 days before the date of your
rental, your deposit will be refunded less a $25.00 administrative
fee. If you cancel at less than 5 days, the deposit is forfeited.
If we decide that due to unforeseen conditions that you are
unable to ride (weather, trail conditions, etc.) your deposit
will be refunded. The rental balance is due at the time of the
rental.
Theft of the machine is the responsibility of the renter. |
After
you have played outside, consider a fire next to the lake with your
"sweetie" or the family. We have a firepit stocked with wood for
your enjoyment. If you are thoroughly chilled, try the lodge
for one of our delectable warm concoctions. Coffee, cocoa, or a
Tom & Jerry... hmmmmmm you decide.
Whatever
the season, there is sure to be a bend around the corner waiting
to be discovered by you. Birch Point Resort is also very close to
thousands of acres of the Chequamegon National Forest. We are proud
to offer the hot spots for Ice fishing
on Nelson Lake in the winter. Guests can also access more than 250
kilometers of groomed nordic ski trails and slopes on nearby alpine
ski hills. You can dine at our restaurant,
try any one of the many fine local area eateries, or perhaps visit
and dine at the local casino.
